Students have different learning styles and you are probably all familiar with the popular learning styles theory that emanated from Howard Gardner's work on multiple intelligences. According to this theory, learners are in a better advantage ( academically speaking) when the instructional strategy used is in accordance with their learning style. For instance auditory learners tend to assimilate information much easier through oral instruction. Similarly, Kinesthetic learners lean best when they are engaged in hands-on activities that involves their sensory motor skills.
