Rubrics to Help You Grade Students Assignments on Google Drive

July, 2014
Chalkup is a great web tool that allows teachers to create classes and share different study materials on a message board that students can access in real-time. Chalkup lets you post discussion prompts, add comments to discussions, distribute announcements and assignments and view files.

The handy feature I love about Chalkup is its Google Drive integration. This means that you can share files stored on your Drive right into your Chalkup class with one click or drag and drop them from your computer. You can also create assignments in your Google Drive and share them with your students in real-time .

Students can easily turn in their assignment for grading by simply using drag and drop. They can also upload them from computers or their Drive. As a teacher you can annotate, draw on and grade any uploaded file students submit. You can also add personalized feedback on students papers.

A few days ago Chalkup released a new service which allow teachers to use rubrics on Chalkup to grade assignments that students send them on Google Drive. Watch the video below to learn more about how to use rubrics on Chalkup.
