Looking for some inspiring and thought-provoking quotations? Aquotation is an interesting website I discovered today while I was browsing the Chrome web store for new educational apps. Aquotation provides a wide variety of quotes from popular thinkers and historical figures. The layout of the site is pretty basic with one quote in each page. Clicking on the "Next Quote" button will take you to the following quote.
Under each of the quotes you read on Aquotation are options to share it on polar social media websites such as Twitter and Google Plus. And if you like the quote and want to rate it you click on the string of stars under it. I have spent sometime going through some of the content of this website and found it really worth sharing with you here. It can be a good resource for looking for quotes to share with students in class. The only inconvenience I noticed in this site is the randomness of quotes. It would have been way better if these quotes are sorted and organized under different categories that can be easily navigated. Give it a try and see if you like it.
